Mike Hosty is working on an album and just did some tracks up in Tulsa at Dave Teegarden’s (he was the drummer for Bob Seger). At the recording sessions, Hosty had:

  • Jamie Oldaker on Drums (Jamie played with Clapton from 74-85 and is playing with him in Sept at the Crossroads Music Fest In Dallas Sept 21…he played drums on ‘I Shot the Sheriff” “Cocaine” “Wonderful Tonight”)
  • Gary Gilmore played the bass (Gary played with Taj Mahal on “She Caught the Katy” And is in The Rolling Stones Rock and Roll Circus movie being re released soon. The Stones have released a track of Taj Mahal, with Gary On Bass, from the Rock and Roll Circus sessions on Spotify… Gary also played with JJ Cale and Gary Lewis and the Playboys)
  • And Rockn Jimmy Byfield on Guitar (Jimmy wrote a song “Little Rachel” that Clapton had recorded in mid 70’s and also had a band called the Brothers of the Night that were big in early 80’s Tulsa)

Hosty hopes to finish up in July and release by Nov or Dec along with some live tracks with Oldaker where Hosty played bass with my feet while playing Guitar and singing.
