OkSessions Takeover of the Coop Showcase at Tower Theatre!!!

We are excited to announce our first collaboration with the Tower Theatre! October 17th, OkSessions will “take over” the Coop Showcase, bringing you a lineup of 3 of OKC’s top local bands in the best environment. This is more than a lineup of local bands. This performance will be right on par with touring acts, and represents an important milestone for OkSessions’ effort to build live music culture in Oklahoma City.

What is the Coop Showcase at Tower Theatre?

The Coop Showcase is Tower’s monthly concert dedicated to local artists. The event is sponsored by Coop Ale Works and pairs nicely with a cold glass of F5.

We love this event because it gives local bands a chance to get their show road ready, and connects OKC with some of its artists that are already touring the US.

Who are the Artists?

We will be telling y’all all about the 3 headliners between now and October 17th! For now, put Wednesday, October 17th on your calendar, and RSVP to the Facebook Event where we will post the artists. Also, join the OkSessions email list for info.

The lineup will consist of an OKC-based artist who is actively touring the US, a former American Idol Semi-finalist, and one of OKC’s favorite local acts (who released a new album in August 2018).

What this means for OkSessions and OKC’s Live Music Industry

October 17th will represent an important step for us because we will cross 3 bridges we have been working towards:

1. October 17th Coop Showcase will represent the first show we’ve co-promoted in a mid-sized venue.
2. It will be our first time to run official artists development and PR campaigns.
3. It will lay the groundwork for one of our biggest ideas for 2019, which of course we can’t talk about yet, but we encourage you to be at the show so you can be a part of it!

Artists: We will have an Amplify: Live meetup at Tower Theatre and give attendees discounted tickets!

Our next Amplify meetup will take place at 5:30pm in the main room of Tower Theatre. Join the Amplify User Group so you can be a part. We want tons of artists in the room October 17th, so we will send discount codes for awesome artist discounts through our Amplify email list.
