Mad Honey released their new music video for Blue & You, and it’s dope.
Spinster is a brand new independent folk-rock project, releasing their first ever single “Achilles” on May 10, 2019. The single precedes the release of their debut, self-titled album, “Spinster” in June 2019. Spinster is an indie-rock band based in Oklahoma City, fronted by Jo Babb of Americana sister group The Annie Oakley. Babb writes of self doubt, questioning, and noxious love in her upcoming self-titled and independently released album, “Spinster.” Spinster’s sound is feverishly dreamy, with a fizzy folk-rock edge. Influences range from Adrianne Lenker/Big Thief, Paper Kites, Fruit Bats, Phoebe Bridgers, Cat Power, and Alex G.

Amplify Hotsheet: Week of April 10th
Kristian Matsson (Tallest Man on Earth) is performing at ACM@UCO Performance Lab April 27 at 7 p.m. Before the show, Matsson will be giving a at 4 p.m.
The Basement is a music venue hosting local artists. It’s dope. Check it out y’all. It’s also home to the We Tell Stories series.
Liam Bernhard is playing The Gathering Place in Shawnee April 18 at 7 p.m. for free.
Alison Sloan is a local artist who just released her album MINDBODY on Spotify. The album concept is centered around the embodiment of the Seven Chakras. Alison researched the Chakras and studied frequencies, composition, and genre as well as meditated to create the album.
There are big things happening with the Backyard Collective, the new series of singer-songwriter performances in the Plaza Backyard starting this Spring. Friends, stories, songs, all the good stuff.

Amplify Hotsheet: Week of April 3rd
The Lost End is playing a show with Carly Gwin and the Sin April 13th at the Opolis at 10 p.m. Entry is $5 Carly Gwin and the Sin released a new music video for their song “You Can Feel Sad” back in February directed by Dylan Johnson.
Useless Randy, Bedtime, and Chelsea Day SteelyFace are all playing at ACM@UCO Performance lab 329 E. Sheridan Ave, Oklahoma City April 5th as part of alternative Night. starts at 8 p.m. and admission is free.
Sam Weber will be playing on April 8th at the ACM@UCO Performance lab. Show starts at 7 p.m. and entry is $10.
The Victor Wooten Band and The Wooten Woods Experience perform at 7 p.m. April 24th at the ACM@UCO Performance lab. The same day, Wooten leads a masterclass at noon April 24 in the Songwriting Room (first floor) on the ACM@UCO campus, 25 S. Oklahoma Ave. Entry is limited to UCO students, staff, faculty and concert ticketholders. Seating for the masterclass is limited and first-come-first-served.
Make Oklahoma Weirder’s Evan Jarvicks (Jarvix) is at Blue Note Lounge this Saturday the 6th. Jarvix is also hosting an open mic next Wednesday the 10th (normally is the first Wed.)
Husband and wife dynamic duo Adam and Kizzie will be joining forces with the S.E.A.R.C.H. Committee for a free concert and a big announcement Saturday, April 6, at VZDs. Doors are at 8 p.m. The S.E.A.R.C.H Committee takes the stage at 9 p.m. followed by Adam and Kizzie.
Jazz is Phish is coming to Tower Theater is OKC! Feat. , Cody Wright, Adam Chase & More. Wednesday, April 10th, Doors at 7/Show at 8 p.m. All ages. Tickets are $12 ADV / $15 DOS. They are a musical collective featuring a rotating cast of some of the best jazz musicians out there. This tour features 3x Grammy award winner & Snarky Puppy sax player Chris Bullock, Jonathan Scales bass player Cody Wright, members of Rubblebucket, The New Mastersounds, and more.
Saint Loretto is having an album release show for PASSAGE/S April 19 at 9 p.m. at the 51st Street Speakeasy. OKC band Gum will also be playing, and cover charge is only $3. The event is 21+. This is Saint Loretto’s second album, called PASSAGE/S, featuring singles, “Head Over Heels,” “Aisles,” and “Paris.”
