January was our best Deep Deuce Sessions yet! We stoked with the feedback from our Winter VIP Experience, and we’re not done building. In February we will also have a late-night Afterparty Jam, which will become a staple feature of Deep Deuce Sessions. We’re gonna announce the lineup for February 24th, but first, check out some highlights from last month:
The Lineup
Jose Hernandez Band at [Artspace] at Untitled – Jose headlined alongside two other singer-songwriters in December, and we had to have him back with his full band. Jose brings heartfelt lyrics and powerhouse vocals.
Cavern Company at [Artspace] at Untitled – Cavern Company is a newer band on OKC’s scene that is quickly gaining popularity. We had to bring them in as our first ever indie/experimental band. We’re really excited to see the sounds they paint in Artspace.
Mars the Writer, Weston Gibbon, and Mikayla Jo at Urban Johnnie – Mars the Writer has curated the most diverse lineup of singer-songwriters we’ve ever had. Contemporary gospel, Americana, and Country, respectively. Diversity of experience is what this event is all about.
Sara Byrd and friends at Aloft Hotel – Sara Byrd is an up-and-coming R&B artist making her Deep Deuce Sessions debut.
The Afterparty Jam Hosted x Adam L. (at Aloft, 2nd Floor of the WXYZ Lounge) –Adam Ledbetter is at the helm of the first ever Deep Deuce Sessions Afterparty Jam. The Afterparty Jam will ramp up at 10:30 pm and go until around 1:30 am. Tickets are sold in advance and in the WXYZ Lounge in the Aloft Hotel.
