Show review: Carter Sampson’s Rock and Roll Camp for Girls Benefit at Saints is one of the most beautiful monthly events in Oklahoma City

Carter Sampson is a singer-songwriter and an inspiration to young women

Carter graces the nation (and other nations) with her tours, but what she does here in Oklahoma City is what we are most proud of. Every second Wednesday at Saints, she uses her music to lift up young women that follow in her footsteps.

8 p.m. every second Wednesday, Carter curates and hosts a band at Saints that plays to raise money for Rock & Rolls Camp for Girls OKC, a local non-profit that empowers young women with music education, creation, and performance.

Carter’s lineup

Rock and Roll Camp for Girls presents… some amazing bands from Oklahoma and beyond. Carter is a well-traveled veteran of the acoustic, singer-songwriter circuit. She invites amazing bands from the 405 and surrounding states to perform. Carter graces the room with her smooth, honest voice, and that alone makes you feel good about showing the pink benefit bucket some love
