We love seeing musicians bring a big show together. Something about collaborating across genres feels like the artists are exemplifying what it means fuse different cultures together to make something new and beautiful. That’s why we’re excited about Matt Stansberry and Friends at VZD’s
Do you feel the Romance OKC!?
The two-night showcase will feature a host of local artists from various genres. The lineup is not announced, and likely will remain a surprise until downbeat. However, we’ve had a peek at the artists currently scheduled to perform and the roster is deep. From rappers to singers to instrumentalists, both dates will be stacked.
Stansberry indicated that he’d like to host a show like this a few times per year. This show is Matt Stansberry’s first performance at VZD’s in over a decade, and the first double-header he has ever put on in OKC. Stansberry will be featuring a new solo EP May 17th as well.
All-in-all we predict this show will be the beginning of yet another big, collaborative music event in OKC. We’re looking forward to the inaugural shows.
