-Born and raised in Caracas, Venezuela, Bassist Nelson Gonzalez Barreto is bringing his debut as a band leader with a night of exclusively music from Venezuelan Composers, featuring contemporary arrangements of typical Venezuelan folk songs along with some original music. Nelson Gonzalez is currently completing his bachelors degree at the University of Central Oklahoma and performs with the renowned UCO Jazz Ensemble I
