We’ve been cookin’ up something real special for all of y’all who like live music, good food, and good vibes. Deep Deuce Sessions will be May 26, and it’s going to be a good one.
We’ve got the Jay Wilkinson trio, Boyd Street Brass, Josh Roberts, KALO, Garrett Jacobson, and Adam and Kizzie joining us for night of rad live music in the Deep Deuce District.
JOSH ROBERTS
We’re excited to welcome Josh Roberts to Deep Deuce Sessions. Josh will be playing 7 to 8 p.m. at Aloft Hotel. Josh is a musician from Norman, and he’s shared the stage with Pat Benatar, Cheap Trick, Heart, and more. He’s currently preparing new material for his next solo project.
GARRETT JACOBSON TRIO 
The Garrett Jacobson Trio will be performing 8 to 10 p.m. at the Aloft Hotel. You can catch Garrett at the Riverwind Casino June 30! Garrett’s blue’s vibe is going to be a great addition to Deep Deuce. He plays several instruments, one of which being the organ. JAY WILKINSON TRIO
The Jay Wilkinson trio will be joining in on this night of rad music. You can catch them on the Urban Johnnie patio from 7 to 8:30 p.m. May 26. Jay is the coordinator of jazz studies at OU, and he’s done everything from performing with the OKC Philharmonic to writing jazz books and even writing for basketball pep bands and ska bands.
KALO will be blessing Deep Deuce with their individual sound. The band is comprised of lead vocalist Bat-Or Kalo, bassist Chad Roper, and drummer Mike Alexander. KALO will be playing 8:30 to 10 p.m. at the Urban Johnnie patio. Their music has been described as “where rhythm and blues meets fiery rock’n’roll.” We’re excited to welcome them to Deep Deuce Sessions.
ADAM AND KIZZIE
Our featured artist of the night is husband and wife duo Adam and Kizzie. Their music is so hard to describe, they’ve created their own genre – EEDO. They’ll be sharing their unique sound with us 7:30 to 8:30 at Level Urban Apartments at Deep Deuce Sessions. Adam and Kizzie were the third-place winners of Usher’s 2017 MEGASTAR Talent competition out of over 7,000 worldwide contestants. We want to give a special thanks to Level Urban Apartment for sponsoring this performance!
Adam and Kizzie have a new album dropping June 8th, and you can catch them at the Tower Theater June 29th.
BOYD STREET BRASS
Jay Wilkinson is joining us again with Boyd Street Brass from 8:30 to 10 p.m. at Urban Level Apartments. Take in the sounds of funk, swing, Latin, and pop. Boyd Street Brass is based out of Norman, Oklahoma. Jay will be fronting the band with a mix of trumpet tunes and vocals.
“This series is highlighting the metro’s finest musicians, and we can’t wait to celebrate that with fans and supporters,” Jay said.
