Central OKC is aware of the rapidly expanding art and live music culture in the city’s arts districts and downtown neighborhoods. The growth in 2 short years has been shocking: new mid-sized venues are bringing premier talent on the national touring circuit, local festivals and concert series have been thrilling crowds in Wheeler, Deep Deuce, and Myriad Gardens, and the local jazz scene has permeated venues ranging from artsy dive bars to the city’s most historic upscale restaurants.
In May 2019, Chisholm Creek’s Rooftop Hop will deliver OKC’s live music renaissance to our suburban audience by creating an epic Live Music Rooftop Happy Hour that pairs OKC’s top talent with excellent new dining and bar concepts.
Oklahoma City’s biggest live music rooftop party
We’re inviting everyone to meet us in Chisholm Creek on Tuesday evenings from May 14 – June 11. After work, people from Downtown, Edmond, Deer Creek, and beyond will come together for Oklahoma City’s biggest live music rooftop party.
Rooftop Hop isn’t a party you need to get dressed up for, but it’s certainly not your typical happy hour experience. You’ll fit in whether you show up in casual attire or just loosen your tie when you leave the office.
Rooftop Hop will feature live music on 4 rooftops/patios in Chisholm Creek. The party begins at 6pm, and will wrap up around 9pm.
Chisholm Creek’s Venues: Birra Birra, Chalk, Top Golf, and Sidecar
The advent of the new Rooftop Hop series aligns perfectly with new food concepts coming online in Chisholm Creek.
Birra Birra pizzeria is a brand new two-story craft pizza concept that boasts “the worlds longest ice bar,” beautiful views of The Pointe, and a great patio. Bibi’s Ice Cream also opened next door, creating an all-in-one date night package that’s perfect for couple or families. Throughout the series, we’ll be featuring indie bands, RnB artists, and Latin music on a stage on the lawn so that everyone on the patios can be immersed in the event.
Chalk is an equally fresh sports bar concept that’s also located at The Pointe. Their interior audio-visual setup is mind-blowing, and their intimate rooftop bar will be the perfect venue to feature OKC’s finest jazz combos and vocalists. We’re known at OkSessions for transforming unlikely spaces into badass jazz clubs, and that’s exactly what we will do on Chalk’s patio at Rooftop Hop.
Top Golf is an entertainment behemoth. In addition to the engaging driving range experience, bars, and event spaces, Top Golf is quickly becoming an enticing venue for music. They recently featured Snoop Dogg, and we’ll be placing larger bands on their spacious rooftop patio.
Sidecar already has a strong following for its live music rooftop shows that go down every Wednesday and Thursday evening. They are experienced rooftop party-throwers. While the other three stages are family friendly, Sidecar is for the 21+ crowd. This is the place to bring your crew, dance with your significant other, or meet someone new. 😉
The Rooftop Hop Giveaway
At Rooftop Hop, you’ll have the best time exploring and taking in all that the neighborhood has to offer. Whil you taste food, sip drinks’ and connect with local artists, we’ll be giving away special prizes to those who show up and explore.
At every stage, you’ll receive a different colored ticket. Each ticket can be entered for a chance to win prizes from local businesses and friends all around the city.
You’ll be given a ticket at each stage, each week, meaning you can enter up to 20 chances to win throughout the series!

Winners will be chosen at The Pointe at the closing of each Tuesday night.
