The Best Listening Room in Oklahoma just partnered with OKC’s most consistent straight-ahead jazz show. Starting in February, Tuesday nights will feature live jazz shows at the Blue Door.
The Blue Door is a historic music venue in OKC. Not only has the venue featured renowned songwriters, played a major role in developing some of the most widely-known -grown musicians on the touring circuit.
Beginning in February, the Blue Door will feature live jazz every Tuesday, and you can always find the lineup at OkSessions.com/bluedoor. Tickets will be sold on the Blue Door’s website and available at the door.
The Blue Door is a unique place. It’s neither a bar nor a club – it’s a listening room. The only thing they sell is music, and the culture around the event is one that honors the art above all else. The Blue Door permits (and encourages) guests to bring their own beverage since they don’t sell alcohol or soft drinks. Experienced Blue Door fans event bring a cooler for themselves and their friends.
We’re very excited about this partnership because we know the Blue Door is all-in when it comes to music. Greg Johnson (the owner/manager of the Blue Door) has made the venue a lasting success because of his dedication to the music and the artists who perform in his space.
The Blue Door is located on 2805 N. McKinley, directly east of OCU’s campus (it shares a parking lot with the Meinders School of Business.
